Rules for Everyone
What are the MaxSportsure Community Guidelines?
The Community Guidelines explain what users may and may not do on MaxSportsure. They are designed to protect users, maintain the integrity of the sports community, and establish rules for content, communication, monetization, and platform conduct.
Who must follow these rules?
Everyone using MaxSportsure must follow these Guidelines, regardless of user type, verification status, subscription status, or whether content is public or private.
What content is prohibited?
Prohibited content includes illegal content, sexual exploitation, pornography, credible threats, targeted harassment, hate-based abuse, fraud, scams, impersonation, malicious disclosure of private information, and other content that violates MaxSportsure policies or applicable law.
What are the rules for harassment and bullying?
Users may disagree, compete, criticize performances, and discuss sports. Users may not repeatedly target another person with threats, intimidation, degrading abuse, unwanted sexual comments, or coordinated harassment.
What are the rules for hate speech?
Content that attacks, threatens, dehumanizes, or promotes hatred against people based on protected characteristics is prohibited.
What are the rules for threats and violence?
Users may not make credible threats of violence, encourage violent wrongdoing, or use MaxSportsure to coordinate violence. Normal sports footage depicting legal competitive contact is not prohibited merely because the sport is physical.
Is sexual or adult content allowed?
No. MaxSportsure is a sports platform. Pornography, sexually explicit content, sexual services, sexual solicitation, and sexual exploitation are prohibited.
What are the rules for copyright and content ownership?
Only upload, stream, repost, or distribute content that you own or have permission or another lawful right to use. Giving credit to the copyright owner does not automatically give you permission.
Can users impersonate another person, team, or organization?
No. Users may not deceptively represent themselves as another athlete, coach, team, school, company, organization, or person.
What are the rules for scams and fraud?
Scams, fake recruiting opportunities, payment fraud, deceptive promotions, fake sponsorships, fraudulent fundraising, and other intentionally misleading schemes are prohibited.
What are the rules for Messages?
Messages must follow the same Community Guidelines as public content. Harassment, threats, grooming, sexual solicitation, scams, spam, and other prohibited activity are not allowed simply because a conversation is private.
What are the rules for Live content?
Livestreams must follow all MaxSportsure rules. Creators are responsible for what they choose to broadcast or display through their MaxSportsure Live experience.
What information should never be posted?
Do not publicly post passwords, banking credentials, government identification numbers, authentication codes, or another person's highly sensitive private information without authorization.
How do I report another user or content?
Use the available Report option on the relevant profile, post, message, livestream, or other content.
What happens when something is reported?
MaxSportsure may review the reported content, surrounding context, account history, and other relevant information and take action when appropriate.
When can MaxSportsure suspend or terminate an account?
Accounts may be restricted, suspended, or terminated for serious or repeated violations, fraud, safety threats, exploitation, manipulation, or other violations of MaxSportsure policies.
Can I appeal a MaxSportsure decision?
Certain moderation, verification, monetization, and account decisions may be eligible for appeal. Available appeal options will be provided with the applicable decision when possible.
