Verification

Who needs to be verified?

Verification is required for users who participate in MaxSportsure programs that require verified identity, including Paid Creators, Affiliates, users receiving payouts, and other accounts MaxSportsure determines require verification.

What does the MaxSportsure Verified badge mean?

A Verified badge means MaxSportsure has completed the applicable verification process for that account. It does not mean MaxSportsure endorses the user, guarantees their qualifications, or guarantees everything they post is accurate.

Is verification required to receive money?

Yes. Users must complete the required verification process before receiving payouts through MaxSportsure.

Is verification required for Paid Creators?

Yes. Identity verification is required before Paid Creator monetization can be activated.

Is verification required for Affiliates?

Yes. Affiliates must complete the required verification before receiving Affiliate payouts.

What identification is accepted?

Accepted identification will depend on MaxSportsure's verification provider and may include valid government-issued identification such as a driver's license, state/national identification card, or passport.

How does mobile identity verification work?

Users may begin verification through MaxSportsure and continue on a compatible mobile device. The process may require photographing an accepted ID and completing a selfie or liveness check.

What happens if verification fails?

The account will not receive the features requiring successful verification. MaxSportsure may provide instructions to correct information, retry, submit another supported document, or request review when available.

Can a user try verification again?

Generally, yes, subject to MaxSportsure's retry limits, fraud controls, verification-provider requirements, and any applicable verification fees.

How are minors handled?

Minor accounts follow a separate process based on age, applicable law, and MaxSportsure's youth-safety requirements. Parent/guardian consent or verification may be required before certain features or monetization are available.

How are parents/guardians verified?

A parent or guardian may be required to complete identity verification and provide information or documentation necessary to establish their authority to act for the minor.

Does parent verification verify the athlete?

No. Verifying a parent's identity establishes the identity of the parent or guardian. It does not, by itself, establish the identity of the minor athlete or prove the relationship between them.

How is verification information protected?

MaxSportsure and its verification providers use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information they process. Verification information is handled according to applicable privacy notices, retention requirements, and agreements with verification providers.
